I just cannot get enough of this album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HffsI1t1eHc
Its so fucking good ! From painkiller to hell patrol to nightcrawler is just keeps getting better.
I only recently found it having never really listened to Judas Priest before other than knowning them for that song breaking the law. Its hards to believe its the same band. I think its become my favourite metal album.
Along with repeatedly listening to this album ive been getting my fix of metal from Iron Maiden. Its been awhile since listening to metal music so its a great help in making me want to grind. I just choose the top 100 maiden videos on youtube and let it play through. My fav song at the moment is seventh son of a seventh son http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEOmJ_OeVhU
For the times i really dont feel like playing but know i should i resort to my ace in the hole Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon album.
One thing ive found about listening to music while grinding is that i need to play without it for an hour or so because if i start listening from the start of the session is becomes all about the music. My brain isnt thinking through the hands as it should be and its harder to turn off auto pilot.
As for my poker results im running insanely bad this month but hopefully with my volume it will turn around.

Try listening to classical music to start your grind. It's been shown into increase brain function. I mix in hard rock, classical, smooth jazz and other things. I try to keep music balanced so if I'm running bad I don't get tilted more by some hard rock.
It's hard to tilt with Mozart or something like that playing. Run better man. Cheers.
As a professed metal head, I too enjoy the hard stuff. But, it can definitely effect my mood while playing. Kevin turned me on (TWSS) to Russian Circles which is a pretty cool instrumental metal/prog rock/hard rock band.
You guys should really try Yiruma(a classic artist)! I just avoided tilting yesterday with 3 suckouts with AA vs. QQ, QQ and KJs(in one session of SNG's) - it really helps.
Apart from this I personally like to mix in Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson and Coldplay :)
Enjoy.
I've been experimenting with listening to "Brain Waves" / Hypnosis type stuff when grinding this month. Yeah, I'm crazy, but if it keeps me tilt free I will feel like the smartest man alive.
